WINR - Women in North Richmond Inc. is now an Incorporated Association!
WINR Inc. supports local women to connect through social, cultural, educational, and financial opportunities and to thrive by empowering women (and everyone who identifies as female) in our community.
We are a grassroots community driven group of local women who aim to build stronger connections, inclusivity and social goodwill through creative events and community presence. We love the enduring familiarity of living together in the “Hood”

WINR Inc. are very grateful to the fabric wholesalers who have generously donated material to be upcycled into our vibrant items.
BOYAC , Materialised and BQ Design This material gets a wonderful second life and supports our fundraising projects.

Maggie and Judy have volunteered months of their valuable time to this project! Nothing happens without them.
Project #2 - Festival of Women Saturday 2nd March 2024 to kick start the celebrations around International Women’s Day Week!
We are grateful to the Vic State Government for funding this event a second time - to be held March 2nd 2024
Project # 3 - Event Skills Program - Young Women 15 - 18 years.
This is something brand new that we thought would be a great - paid - opportunity for local young women to be introduced to all things events, surrounded in creativity and work towards building skills for their Cv. We are grateful to the State Government for funding this project through the Victorian Grassroots Grants for Women.
Participants are guided by an experienced event coordinator in workshop sessions and learn a range of skills for the festival, meet some inspiring female leaders in the sporting and event management space and put all their new skills into action at the Festival of Women.
