Conscious Combat is not fighting. It combines consciousness with the physicality of martial arts to allow us to move from a state of self-defence to offense. By allowing ourselves to explore our vulnerabilities and process our trauma, we are able to discover our body’s full strength and capability. By teaching combat in a conscious way, guided by trauma-informed principles, we aim to help people expand their window of tolerance.

Serving families in Fitzroy, Collingwood, Richmond, and Carlton, HIPPY Fitzroy offers the HIPPY Program to families with 3-year-old children. Our mission is to support families in acquiring new skills, confidence, and connections within their community and family.
About Our Program:
HIPPY is a fun and free, two-year home-based program that begins when your child is 3. Aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework, our activities are designed to support your child’s learning and development through play. Operated under the license of The Brotherhood of St. Laurence, HIPPY supports parents and carers to actively participate in their child's education, building confidence whilst nurturing their development and well-being.
How We Support Families:
Dedicated Tutors provide personalised support, encouraging families to adopt a 'have-a-go' attitude. Regular Group Gatherings facilitate connections, sharing of experiences, and access to local resources, enriching community engagement and well-being. Additionally, HIPPY offers parents the opportunity to join the HIPPY Tutor program, providing a paid pathway to personal development and employment.
